We provide quilt repair and restoration services for clients in Kissimmee, Orlando, and throughout Central Florida, and we also work with clients nationwide who ship quilts to our studio.

Quilt Repair Services

We offer a variety of quilt repair options depending on the condition of the quilt, including:

• repairing torn seams
• patching worn or damaged fabric
• replacing damaged blocks
• reinforcing thin areas
• stabilizing fragile quilt tops
• repairing binding and edges

Each quilt is evaluated individually to determine the best approach.

Repair Estimates

Because every quilt and every repair is different, restoration work is priced by project. After reviewing photos or seeing the quilt in person, we will provide an estimate before any work begins.

Quilt Restoration and Repairs

Older quilts sometimes require more extensive work. Restoration focuses on preserving the original quilt while stabilizing areas that have worn over time.

This may include:

• replacing severely damaged fabric
• reinforcing weakened seams
• repairing batting or backing
• carefully reconstructing damaged sections

Our goal is always to preserve as much of the original quilt as possible while returning the quilt to usable condition.

Recreating a Quilt from a Photo

Sometimes a treasured quilt has been lost or worn beyond repair. In those cases, we can recreate the design using new fabrics while preserving the spirit of the original quilt.

Clients often bring photos of family quilts that were passed down through generations. We carefully study the pattern and rebuild the quilt so the design can continue to be enjoyed.

How the Repair Process Works

1. Send photos of the quilt so we can evaluate the damage.

2. We discuss repair options and estimated costs.

3. Quilts can be dropped off locally in Kissimmee or shipped to the studio.

4. Repairs are completed and the quilt is returned ready to be used and enjoyed again.

Each quilt is unique, so repair work is quoted individually.
