Stitches N Ditches began with a simple sewing machine and a passion for creativity. What started as a small personal project quickly grew into something more—helping others preserve meaningful memories in fabric form.

Our studio began in a spare bedroom in Virginia, where the first quilts were designed and stitched. As word spread and projects grew, it became clear that this creative endeavor had the potential to become something larger.

Around the same time, a major life transition was taking shape. With the opportunity to retire from a long career with the Federal Government and work fully remotely, we began looking toward the next chapter. After months of searching, we found the perfect home in Florida within a welcoming 55+ community.

The move allowed the studio to grow. What began as a single-person project has expanded to include several talented members of our community who help bring each quilt to life.

Over the years, Stitches N Ditches has built a reputation for craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail. Today our quilts and keepsakes are shipped to customers across all 50 states and to military installations around the world.

Our studio specializes in memory quilts, T-shirt quilts, traditional quilts, quilt repair, and long-arm quilting services for clients in the Kissimmee and Greater Orlando area as well as customers nationwide.

Every project we create carries a story—memories preserved in fabric, stitched together to last for generations.
