Traditional quilts are built from three layers:

Quilt Top – the pieced design made from fabric blocks
Batting – the inner layer that provides warmth and loft
Backing – the fabric that finishes the back of the quilt

Once these layers are assembled, they are stitched together using decorative or functional stitching known as quilting, creating a finished piece that is as beautiful as it is practical.

How Our Traditional Quilts Are Created

Every quilt begins with fabric selection and design planning. We work with clients to select color palettes, block styles, and layout patterns that suit the project.

Once the design is finalized, the quilt is constructed through careful piecing of individual fabric blocks. After the quilt top is completed, the quilt is layered with batting and backing before being quilted on our long-arm machine.

The final step is binding the quilt edges, creating a finished heirloom designed to last for generations.
